Hi !  I'm Betsy Markle, RD
I'm a registered dietitian and a holistic nutritionist.  I started my career in the clinical setting where the conventional wisdom said fewer calories in versus calories out would lead to weight loss.  Makes sense, right? 

The problem I found with this thinking was it didn't take into consideration that people's metabolisms can become damaged over time due to stress, too much dieting, autoimmune issues or hormonal changes.


I started working with a world-renowned endocrinologist in Santa Barbara, CA who showed me I had the power to HEAL client's metabolisms through proper nutrition and lifestyle interventions. 

I was already getting great result for my clients when I met Stacy (who is now my business partner). Stacy Hinkel is a certified personal trainer, strength and conditioning specialist and certified health coach that helps clients get out of pain (knee, back, shoulder, etc.) and helps them develop the fitness for the lifestyle THEY want to live.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How is this different from other programs out there?
First, the Metabolism Mojo Coaching Program is NOT A DIET. Second, it's personalized. Clients have the full support of Betsy (Nutrition Expert) and Stacy (Fitness Expert). Together they create individualized meal plans and exercise programs that fit your needs, schedule and preferences. In addition, we work on your mindset so this balanced way of living sticks with you.  
How much time per week do I need to set aside to complete this program?
All you need is 1-2 hours/week.  The goal is to complete one learning module/week (~30-60 min) and one coaching meeting/week (~30-60 min).  
I'm going out of town...should I wait to start? 
The beauty of working with us is we are a small and flexible company. If you have a scheduled vacation, just tell us and we'll make adjustments to your start and end date to ensure you get 12 weeks of coaching even if you're gone in the middle of the program.
Is this a group program?
Most people sign up for our group coaching program but we have a 1:1 option as well.  We are proud to say that our group coaching program has limited spots so we truly get to know you.  As you work through the program, we meet weekly and provide personal feedback on every learning module. And best of all, we create personalized menu plans, exercise plan, and supplement recommendations for YOU.
